Pár slov na úvod
Pokud se pouštíte do batikování, mějte na mysli, že ne vždy nakonec vše vyjde podle Vašich představ.Barvy si dělají co samy chtějí a konečný výtvor nás tak může leckdy překvapit.Ale v tom je právě krása batiky:)
Před samotným začátkem si pečlivě připravte pracovní plochu.Odstraňte z dosahu všechny věci, které nesmí být zašpiněné (popřípadě je něčím přikryjte) a udělejte si dostatek prostoru kolem sebe.Nejlepší je asi pracovat v kuchyni (protože je třeba mít přístup ke sporáku nebo vařiči) a koupelně, kde se zašpiněné plochy lépe čistí.
Při práci s práškovou barvou obzvláště pozor, malá zrníčka barvy totiž nemusíte vidět, jakmile se však k nim dostane voda, začnou opravdu hodně pouštět barvu a můžou tak nadělat velkou paseku.
Co potřebujete
Na každý typ batiky jsou potřeba jiné pomůcky, co je však důležité je výběr barvené látky.Nejlépe je pracovat se 100% bavlnou, lnem, viskózou a nebo hedvábím.Můžou být i s malou příměsí elastanu nebo něčeho jiného, počítejte však potom s tím, že barva se nemusí chytit, nebo nedosáhne takového odstínu či sytosti, jak by jsme chtěli.Někdy se prostě barva chytí, někdy ne, každopádně je to risk.Doporučovala bych tedy zůstat raději u bavlny.
Dále barvy.Osobně mám nejlepší zkušenost s barvami DUHA.Seženete je v každé drogerii a cena je velmi příznivá - jeden sáček se pohybuje okolo 20 Kč. Samozřejmě jsou na trhu i další barvy, jsou však již dražší, a pokud Vám můžu poradit, barvy DUHA jsou prostě nejlepší.
Další pomůcky se již liší, vypsala jsem proto zvlášť ke každému druhu batiky jednotlivé věci, bez kterých se neobejdete;)
